Lukas’ week 14-15 of training

Heat wave! Summer madness! This effects people with MS believe it or not as hot weather makes symptoms worse. So I have to watch myself even more which means I can have more ice cream than others, take cool baths or sit in front of a fan all day while working. That certainly helps but keeps me off running with exceptions if I am running really early in the morning (and I am talking 6am…). 

My last few weeks were a bit conservative in terms of running distance and overall training intensity, I started to pick up a little bit with 3 runs per week and the heat kicked in slowing me down again which is a bit annoying. Well, I hope the heat won’t stay for too long and I will be back on track very soon but for now it’s time to sit back and unwind….
